This book is a small pocket sized. It is quite thin. Now inside it contains ONLY psychiatric drugs.A resident of Psychiatry will find it useful. It has mechanisms of action , trade names and sidefects of all Psychiatric drugs in categories.
Customer rating is 5 of 5  beautifully simple   2009-03-23
By me
This book is exactly what it claims to be. It's a pocket-sized book and doesn't waste paper on any nonsense. It's very simply a list of psychotropic medications, their side effects, what they're used for, etc. It's not exactly enough for a reader to become a psychiatrist, but it's perfect for any counselor who wants to understand what their clients are taking and why.

This is a must-have for every psychiatry resident. The information is adequate and compact. Its a great book to survive the on-calls.
Customer rating is 2 of 5  NOT SO GOOD   2009-01-06
By L. Anderson
It is not the book that is expected, this book is only for residents/psychiatrists/doctors. It is not a book for an average "Joe" to have it misleads the reader and can cause problems with your doctor. Again, this is a book that will cause more problems in ones therapy.
